
The show debuted in the fall of 2006 and is currently in its second season; a feat achieved by less than ten percent of new shows on television. In its first year, The DENTAA Show" pulled the highest ratings on OBE TV and was very popular amongst the coveted 18 – 40 years old demographic group. The show has in just its second year of existence, captured the hearts of viewers of all ages and various walks of life.

It is a three segment 30 minute family entertainment programme, which takes the viewer on a journey to Africa: exposing them to its people and culture. The show then plunges viewers into the entertainment scene with interviews of top celebrities and special coverage of concerts and other entertainment events whilst staying true to the theme of showing the creative unique style of Africa. There is also a video chart show which is devoted to exposing viewers to all that is fresh and new within the Ghanaian Music scene.
The show, produced in conjunction with Hand print Entertainment and Tele-pictures Productions see Dentaa interviewing some of the top celebrities (actors, presenters, musicians) in her unique relaxing style.

Dentaa Show aims to portray Africa in a positive awareness of Africa, strengthening and enhancing African culture and to provide quality entertainment to the both Africans, her children in the Diaspora and people looking to know about Africa. We believe that an increase in awareness leads to an increase in knowledge and therefore aim at using our media influence to promote Africa’s entertainment and culture which contributes to the development of the continent as a whole.

When you watch television, it’s hard to miss the immaculate talent of Vivian ‘Dentaa’ Boateng. She has attained 10 years of experience in Hosting, presenting fashion and acting, playing numerous roles in films and serials on BBC, ITV and Channel 4. She has achieved stardom by touring around the globe promoting her released solo Gospel album which stormed the Ghana airwaves in 2005/06.
Dentaa is a woman with passion and a vision to create change. In Dentaa words: “It’s important to make people feel good, to show compassion, to be uplifting and to help people expand their horizons. We should encourage people, discover new talent, creativity and give people a chance to realize their full potential. Finally, we want to provide people with an escape and help them find joy.”
Dentaa strives to create a business that provides people with ways to demonstrate their unique capabilities. She delivers; she walks the walk, proving by example with her many accomplishments.
There is no trick to her success; it is a product of her drive, focus and production savvy. She is involved in every step of the production process: crafting stories, getting to know her guests and working in the editing bay to make sure the final product is up to her high standards. Dentaa works to push far beyond average expectations and uses her creative ingenuity to present fresh, inspiring shows to viewers.
